It is stealing pure and simple. I am sure the author, who probably has kids, and is working on razor thin margins as it is, would love a minute you.

It is even worst that you are espousing a method to cheat this hard working author.

Since most (all?) Android phones have a 3D tilt sensor inside, it should not make any difference what angle you hold your phone. If you hold it level like a traditional compass then it will work exactly like a compass.

If you hold your phone as if taking a photo then the phone tries to be slightly smart and assumes that upwards on your phone means forwards, so a compass app pointing north would point into the sky if you were facing north and would point to the ground if you were facing south.

The basic question is: shall I use it while putting the phone lying on the table like the traditional compass, or holding it up erectically facing the direction I'm watching like taking a photo? Or, use it both ways? There is no obvious answer.

To fire air to air missiles you need an Apache. Lock onto an enemy helicopter by aiming at them. Do not fire until you get a lock tone.

I'd personally recommend not spawning your helicopter when you know there is another one in the air, it takes far too long to destroy it and has a very good chance of taking you out first.

I think it only works when it happens to everyone simultaneously. The old "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" problem.

If someone asks me what I earn, I'm happy to tell them. But broadcasting it just seems weird. In some countries, tax receipts aren't private - so you can see what anyone earns.

The human brain is darkness. Latent knowledge very soon evaporates to nothingness, very more so with respect to programming languages. You never really know how much you've lost until you decide to draw upon them again. I had to struggle to keep my skills up to par with my other known languages after I discovered Python.
